Veska offers a wide range of services, and the shopping center currently houses more than 30 different service providers. In addition to a wide variety of restaurants and retail stores, Veska’s second floor houses a wellness and fitness center for the whole family, offering a comprehensive range of wellness, health, beauty, and fitness services. Veska is open every day of the week.

The building has undergone a complete energy renovation. A geothermal heating and cooling system was installed in the shopping center to supplement the existing district heating solution, along with a new ventilation and electrical system. As part of the renovation of the building’s ventilation system, a heat recovery system was added to utilize waste heat from the restaurants’ kitchens to heat the building. The building’s electrical systems were renovated to meet modern requirements and standards. The interior lighting was upgraded to automated LED lighting.

A solar panel array covering more than 10,000 square meters has been installed on the shopping center’s roof, equivalent to the energy consumption of approximately 4,000,000 kilometers driven by electric cars. Veska was the first shopping center in the Pirkanmaa region to achieve Energy Efficiency Class A, and the shopping center was awarded the international BREEAM Very Good environmental certification.
