During 2022, Aare Invest carried out preliminary studies and compared different certifications. Aare Invest chose the BREEAM certification scheme. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is Europe’s leading environmental rating system. Certified buildings are rated in five levels, depending on the criteria they meet: Pass, Good, Very Good, Excellent and Outstanding.

Towards the end of the year, a schedule for completing the certification was drawn up and the need for solar power was assessed.
