With more than 130 companies, the Lielahti area is one of Tampere’s most significant retail hubs. New premises for IKH and Suomen Autohuolto were completed in spring 2023 on Suokorvenkatu, opposite the plot. Padel Tampere and Tampereen Voimistelijat operate behind the plot.

The City of Tampere is investing in the Lielahti area with an artificial island covering tens of thousands of square meters. In addition, a tram line to Lielahti is under construction and will start operating in the next few years.

The area's infrastructure has been developed extensively in recent years to improve traffic flow and safety, including the Rantatunneli tunnel and a third lane between the junction and Enqvistinkatu in Lielahti. The plot is located along Vaasantie and is very easy to reach by car thanks to good road connections. Tampere regional public transport bus lines 4, 34 and 80 run along nearby Myllypuronkatu, and bus line 12 runs along Teivaalantie close to the plot. These provide smooth public transport connections to the center of Tampere and the surrounding municipalities. In addition, a tram line to Lielahti is under construction and will start operating in the next few years.
