The new restaurant will bring French flair and flavours to dishes familiar to Finns.

“Our aim with the new restaurant is to give dishes familiar to Finns a French touch. The historic setting of the Frenckell office building is the perfect backdrop for our restaurant. We are delighted to offer our customers unique culinary experiences and unforgettable moments in the heart of Tampere,” say the restaurant’s owners, Marco Kaniecki and Tapio Alanko.

The setting of the Frenckell office building creates a unique and intimate atmosphere. The nearly 500 m² space includes a street-level dining room and an atmospheric brick-vaulted cellar, which is perfect for corporate events and private parties. The restaurant will also have a wine bar offering a wide selection of French wines and cocktails. In summer, guests can enjoy their meals on the restaurant’s charming terrace, a relaxed and cosy spot in the middle of the city’s hustle and bustle. The restaurant will be open every day, from breakfast until late in the evening.

Aare Invest Oy purchased the Frenckell office building in February 2024. Extensive renovation of the historic property will begin later this year.
